The Coalition and Hinshaw & Culbertson invite you attend a program highlighting the importance of "mindfulness." We’re all well aware of the importance of a healthy diet, regular exercise and a full night’s sleep, but we rarely hear about the importance of exploring our minds. Mindfulness is, in essence, the practice of paying careful, deliberate attention to our mental states in an effort to better understand them and improve our ability to be less reactive to and judgmental of them.
Speaker Jonathan Mraunac will discuss the basics of mindfulness and how it impacts our physical health and, ultimately, our personality and productivity. The daily stresses inherent in the practice of law and the need for work-life balance inspired Jonathan to explore the importance of mindfulness. Over the past 10 years, Jonathan has studied and developed a deep knowledge of mindfulness, nutrition, meditation and exercise. Jonathan is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with you, including an interactive meditation and breathing exercise.
