Equal Pay: Empowering Women In Law to Demand Their Worth & Transform Their Financial Lives

In honor of International Women's Day, please join the Coalition for a discussion about equal pay in the workplace. Hosted by member firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP, this program will bring together panelists Roxana McKinney, LaDonna Lusher, and Annette Tyman, who together will examine how women in law can empower each other to demand our own worth.
Roxana McKinney, Financial Coach and founder of Women Wealth & Worth, LLC. Roxana started her journey toward financial security as a trader at Deutsche Bank, eventually starting her own financial coaching practice. Roxana’s passion around helping women across the country transform their financial lives and command their true worth in the workplace gave birth to Women Wealth & Worth, LLC. Her specialties include education around increasing savings rates and credit scores, tax efficiency, retirement strategies, and more.
LaDonna Lusher, moderator; partner at Virginia & Ambinder, LLP. LaDonna’s practice focuses on employment and discrimination law. She has represented clients in a wide variety of labor matters in both federal and state courts, including complex class actions to recover unpaid wages and benefits, FLSA violations, employment discrimination matters, sexual harassment, unlawful termination, retaliation, breach of contract and other employment-related violations.
Annette Tyman, partner and co-chair of the equal pay practice group in the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Annette provides proactive counseling and litigation advice to employers on workforce strategies that leverages the use of data analytics, with an emphasis on pay equity, diversity and inclusion, and people analytics. Annette collaborates with employers to design and implement metrics for tracking, assessment, and achievement of workforce objectives including effective talent acquisition and management, pay equity, diversity and inclusion, and workforce restructuring with an eye toward minimizing litigation risk. Additionally, Annette is a member of the Seyfarth’s Chicago Diversity Action Team, supports the firm’s national Diversity leadership, and actively participates in pro bono and other community charitable activities.
