What is Happening to DE&I? A Panel Discussion in the Aftermath of the Harvard Decision and Subsequent Litigation Chicago Women in IP is partnering with the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law to present a panel on the state of DE&I in law firms and companies in the wake of the Harvard affirmative action decision from the Supreme Court and the subsequent litigation and claims against law firms and companies. Join us on March 14th from 4-6pm CT at McAndrew, Held and Malloy (virtual option available as well) for a discussion featuring perspectives from both outside and in-house counsel on what the recent case law and related developments means for the future of DE&I programming and initiatives in law firms and companies. We are pleased to feature panelists Sonya Rosenberg of Neal Gerber and Eisenberg, Kim Metrick of Walgreens, and Tracee Davis of Seyfarth Shaw for a hybrid panel moderated by Grayson Moronta, also of Seyfarth Shaw. McAndrews, Held and Malloy will be hosting in-person attendees, and we hope you will join us virtually or in person for this important presentation of the current legal framework surrounding DE&I and discussion of how this can and should affect recruiting, hiring, and initiatives in firms and companies. We encourage those who can attend in person to do so, as it will be a phenomenal opportunity for ChiWIP and Coalition women to network and get to know each other and help strengthen our respective communities. We anticipate that doors will open at 4pm CT/5pm ET with the substantive panel running from 4:30-5:30pm CT/5:30-6:30ET and an informal discussion to follow until 6pm CT/7pm ET along with some refreshments generously provided by McAndrews, Held and Malloy! CLE Credit is pending.
