Join the Coalition for a Morning of Service!

We are excited to spend time together volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and invite you to join us for a morning of giving back to our community.

What You'll Be Doing

We will participate in one of the Food Depository's Repack sessions, helping prepare food that will provide meals to our neighbors throughout the Chicago community. Every pair of hands makes a difference, and we hope you'll join us for this meaningful morning of service.

Registration Information

After registering through the Coalition, you will receive a link to the Food Depository's volunteer registration page. Each volunteer must accept the waiver and register individually as part of our group.

We strongly encourage everyone to complete this step in advance to help ensure a quick and smooth check-in process on the day of the event.

Plan Ahead

Arrival: Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early. If you expect to be late, please let us know. There is a 20-minute grace period for volunteers arriving after the start time.

Parking: Free parking is available at the facility, as well as free street parking along Karlov Avenue and Ann Lurie Place.

What to Wear: Long pants, shirts that cover the shoulders, and fully enclosed shoes are required.

Accessibility: The facility is ADA accessible, with accessible parking and ramped sidewalks near the main entrance. Volunteer activities and restrooms are located on the ground level.
